"Landscape with cattle, sheep and goat"
Oil on Panel.
Born in Amsterdam, eminent landscape painter and engraver.
He was a pupil of W. R. van der Wall who was a famous landscape and animal
painter and who modelled him in the style of Paul Potter. He exhibited in Paris
in 1812 and was awarded The Gold Medal. Work includes "The Oxen and
Bull" in the Rotterdam Museum.
